Allround Corfu

Think about it. First, you can find over 200 km of beautiful beaches, romantic bays with some of the most clear and blue water you have ever seen. If you are one of the few people in this world that does not like that, stop reading. Everyone else, continue.
Furthermore, Corfu has a variety of scenery with everything you want. From the beautiful rolling countryside in the South of Corfu to the rugged peaks of the mountain ranges in the North (with Pantokrator as the highest mountain on the island). Central Corfu has all the different types of scenery in which we love to linger.
Notice that Corfu has a wide range of plants, flowers, trees and wildlife. Not tigers, lions and elephants, so feel safe to walk through old villages where time stood still, lush fields and long stretched beaches. A must visit during your stay on Corfu is the capital city of Corfu called Kerkyra (or Corfu Town). You'll be amazed by this metropole, the shops, bars and restaurants and the business that's going on there.
Why not rent a car and discover Corfu in all her aspects? Taste some culture like Achilleion, Theotokis Monastery, The British Cemetery or The Old Fortress. There is so much to see on Corfu, it's a waste of time to spend it all at the beach, believe me.
Corfu has a great nightlife, especially during summer in beach resorts. We name a few: Gouvia, Dassia, Paleokastritsa, Agios Gordios, Acharavi, Sidari and last but not least Corfu Town! OK, the last one is not a beach resort, but never a dull moment in Corfu Town!
Let's not forget the inner man. At Corfu you will find many, many restaurants and bars. The traditional food is delicious, not to mention the snacks called mèzes and the drinks are mostly very cheap. You will love the atmosphere in a traditional taverna or psystaria, where they play live music very often.

Corfu Holiday Island

All these qualities combined with the excellent climate makes it so pleasant to spend your holiday on Corfu. With an average temperature of mid to high 20s in May, June, September and October to 30+ in July and August, the temperature is perfect for a lovely holiday.
The spring and autumn temperatures can be in the 20s making it an ideal location to spend an off-season holiday. You can explore the countryside by bike or by foot, if you wish, and then return home and show of your tan to your friends and family who have been developing rust marks in the dodgy UK weather.
